Alpha Zeta
Chico State - California Eta Chapter

Leaders for the World of Agriculture

Alpha Zeta is a professional organization of men and women whose educational and career objectives fall within the broadly defined field of agriculture and natural resources. Founded at The Ohio State University on November 4, 1897, it is the oldest fraternal society in agriculture.

Mission - Alpha Zeta is a professional agricultural organization dedicated to the highest levels of scholarship, leadership, integrity and service.

CA-Eta was founded in 2005. We have multiple service projects throughout the school year including support for College of Agriculture events, Heifer International, and the Alpha Zeta Gulf Coast Work Trip, aside from many others. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month. For more information, contact Dr. Patrick Berends at (530) 898-4146 or pberends@csushico.edu.
