Like many of the College of Agriculture
staff, Sarah is a proud graduate of the program. During her college years,
Sarah was a member of the award-winning Forensics Team, and worked as a news
reporter at KPAY radio. After earning her degree in Animal Science, she was
privileged to return to Chico to work for her alma mater not once, but twice.
The first time was as the college’s outreach coordinator, recruiting students to
join the College of Agriculture. After a brief venture into workforce
development in Modoc County, she returned in February of 2007 to accept her
current position of director of advancement. In this role she is responsible
for enhancing the college’s ability to educate the future agriculture leaders,
by cultivating philanthropy among College of Agriculture alumni and supporters.
Sarah grew up in a cattle ranching family in
Southern Oregon and Northern California.
