The
Chico State Superior Ag Golf Classic was formed in 1996 with the
purpose of supporting the College of Agriculture at California State
University, Chico with funds for student scholarships and
equipment. To date, almost one-half a million dollars have been raised to assist students
with scholarships and application fee waivers to attend the Chico
State College of Agriculture.
A group of volunteers
representing the agriculture industry and Chico State alumni from
central and northern California, comprise the tournaments committee, and supervise the Golf Classic each year. This unique
blend of people has made this tournament a great success along with
the many golfers, sponsors, in-kind gift donations, and contributors
who do not play golf.
Remember to register early as this
tournament fills up fast! Many different sponsorships are
available. Many of them include a team, tournament signage, and advertising in
the Enterprise Record and the alumni newsletter, The Harvest.
